Integrative Cancer Care:
A cancer diagnosis changes everything: the questions you carry, the decisions you face, and the way your body feels from one week to the next. Conventional cancer treatments are necessary and life-saving, but they can also take a profound physical and emotional toll. Many people seek naturopathic oncology, supportive holistic cancer care, or natural support during active cancer treatment to help them feel more supported throughout treatment and beyond.
Integrative and naturopathic oncology work alongside your oncology team, not instead of it. My role is not only to help reduce treatment side effects—including fatigue, nausea, vomiting, peripheral neuropathy, digestive symptoms, sleep disturbance, pain, or unintended weight loss related to treatment—but also to support your body’s resilience, strengthen immune function, and optimize your body’s response to conventional cancer treatment.

Care may include nutritional support, herbal medicine, repurposed medications, mistletoe therapy, IV treatment, and acupuncture (for cancer-related symptoms:delete this) each selected thoughtfully based on your diagnosis, treatment plan, and how you are doing right now. My approach is individualized, integrative, and grounded in evidence-informed practice.
My training in this area includes work alongside Dr. Edythe Vickers at An Hao Natural Health Clinic, certification in mistletoe therapy and integrative oncology through the Physicians' Association for Anthroposophic Medicine (PAAM), study with Dr. Nasha Winters and Dr. Tina Kaczor, and ongoing membership in the Oncology Association of Naturopathic Physicians.
